Moraga now has a drop off site at 329 Rheem Blvd. where you can drop off your used and expired prescription drugs for proper recycling. Please utilize this new service, to ensure that these drugs stay out of our landfill and water supply. Thank you!
Green Rheem is organized by a collection of Lamorinda community organizations including: Generation Green, Sustainable Moraga, Sustainable Lafayette, and Parents for a Safer Environment. The first Green Rheem film night was held on May 8th, 2008 and featured the movie “Blue Vinyl”. Over 80 people from Lamorinda attended.

Our organization is working to define new horizons and new projects for the upcoming year. We want to continue to educate residents, businesses and government on sustainable practices, to promote a healthy stewardship with our environment. We are looking for new volunteers to help us realize these goals. Many of the core members have moved on to concentrate on special projects and new opportunities. We hope you can find some time and become more active in these community efforts to sustain our town and promote reuse, recycling, reduction of our resources.
